'From Celtic Sea' now in the edit.

After a pretty intense two week shoot, 'From Celtic Sea' is now in the edit and pressure is on with the deadline just two weeks away. With music being provided by the excellent 'Dizraeli and the Small Gods' (Check them out at http://www.dizraeli.com/) its all starting to look pretty exciting, but for now you'll have to take my word for it and just see these two shots of just the sea because we dont want to give the game away too much!

Also in the final stages of editing is the showreel for this year's '5 Days of Theatre' festival at the Atrium (University of Glamorgan). Following the film we made last year (available to watch in the 'My Films' section to the right) we were asked to produce the showreel again this year. This will be going live on Monday in time for the performing arts showcase event.

'From Celtic Sea'

The shoot for the final grad film, now entitled 'From Celtic Sea' is now over half complete. We have had  5am starts, hours of time lapse shooting, pouring rain and storms that seem set to destroy our tent at base camp.

Maybe one day we will make a film where we can stay in the warm and dry...

Unlikely though, because this is amazing!

Production begins on our final graduation film

The ball is officially rolling on the final film I will be making for Newport Film School. We have secured our three contributors, a surfer turned carpenter, a traditional fisherman and a ship-wreck diver, to be in a 15 minute documentary on people's relationships with the sea.

Shoot dates now in the diary, we will be heading down to North Devon to meet 'Dan The Fish Man' for an initial recce next week.

There should be some stills on the way in the next couple of weeks.
